Pilgrimage Mass

Our yearly Pilgrimage Mass held at a local shrine in Philadelphia serves as a time for us to remember and honor those who died during the expulsion of ethnic Germans during and after WWII. We remember all the deceased in the old and new homelands and those forced to flee from their homes.

The pilgrimage begins with a procession into the church, where Catholic Mass is celebrated in German. A luncheon is typically held at the club after the morning Mass. The pilgrimage is sponsored by the Danube Swabian Association clubs of Philadelphia, Trenton, and New York.
